We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Junior Software Engineer (m/f/d) in Simulation Eurofighter".
Your tasks:
1. Develop Simulation models representing aircraft equipment within the simulation (mainly C++)
2. Develop tools to stimulate Simulators and Simulations
3. Create and perform unit tests of Software modules
4. Create tools for improving our development processes (e.g. code generators)
5. Integrate models into the aircraft simulation (C++/Ada)
6. Perform integration testing
7. Documentation of the appropriate software modules
Your profile:
8. Completed studies in the field of computer science, aerospace or a comparable qualification
9. Experience in software design & testing and in unit, system testing and software integration is mandatory
10. Handling of Agile Development Methodologies is desired
11. Previous experience with the Eurofighter aircraft is a plus
12. Good knowledge of the following tools/ technologies is necessary: C/C++ Scripting languages (Bash, Python) Linux (Debian, SLES, RHEL) Continuous Integration & Continuous build system (Jenkins) Software version control (Git) Communication Protocols & Frameworks (TCP, UDP, Websockets, DIS, HLA, ...)
13. Fluent in English
14. German knowledge is nice to have
15. Willingness to travel abroad (once a year, mainly within the EU)
