We are looking for a strategic and execution-driven Material Manager who will ensure the reliable and cost-efficient sourcing of critical raw materials, strengthen our global supplier network, and build a resilient procurement structure aligned with our production, supply chain, and commercial growth objectives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related fields
* 7–12 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles (industrial or manufacturing sectors preferred)
* Strong experience in raw material procurement, ideally within activated carbon, charcoal, agriculture-based materials, or chemical industries
* Proven experience in global supplier management and international sourcing
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills
* Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics, logistics, and production planning interfaces
* Strong analytical and market intelligence skills
* Experience working in fast-growing or international organizations is a plus
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Willingness to travel internationally for supplier management and audits
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, including activated carbon precursors, charcoal, and related agricultural-based inputs
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers while maintaining a resilient and diversified supplier network
* Manage end-to-end procurement processes including negotiation, contracting, pricing, and supplier performance management
* Ensure continuity of supply by proactively managing risks, including geopolitical, logistical, quality, and regulatory risks
* Monitor global raw material markets, pricing trends, and availability to support strategic procurement decisions
* Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Production Planning, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between material supply and production needs
* Work with Sales and Commercial teams to support product availability for customer commitments and new business opportunities
* Lead supplier audits, compliance checks, and quality assurance processes in alignment with industry standards and sustainability requirements
* Optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality, reliability, and long-term supplier relationships
* Support inventory planning and raw material stock management to ensure operational efficiency
* Contribute to sustainability initiatives by promoting responsible sourcing and ESG-compliant supplier practices
