Job Description
As a member of a team providing services to Airbus Defence and Space, you will have the following responsibility:
* Ensuring that customer requirements for Eurofighter avionics have been correctly and fully implemented;
* Responsibility for two of the most important mission computers in the Eurofighter;
* Early detection of errors, support for system and software developers (m/f/d) and preparation of flight certification for the hardware/software entrusted to you.
Qualifications
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
* Electrical engineering or Computer Science or Engineering, minimum Master's/Diploma degree;
* IT / Information systems, at least 3 years professional experience;
* Experience in avionics integration is required;
* MS-Office, at least detailed specialist knowledge;
* Experience in software development for embedded, safety-critical systems – ideally in relation to DO178, V-Modell, EASA Part 21J / ZDv – is required;
* Fluency in English is mandatory;
* Knowledge of German is an advantage;
* Enjoyment in familiarising yourself with complex technical issues, critically questioning them, and contributing to problem solving;
* Ability to coordinate small, cross-functional, and international project teams;
* An independent and conscientious approach to work;
* Openness to the application of agile development methods;
* Strong creativity and enjoyment in designing suitable flight scenarios for testing.
