As Senior Manager, Technical Services for the Windows Division, you will drive the deployment and adaptation of global Technical Services (TS) strategy and standards within our manufacturing operations, ensuring consistent implementation, operational excellence, and alignment with divisional goals.
This role bridges global TS strategy and local execution, tailoring initiatives to divisional needs while remaining aligned with VELUX’s overall direction.
You will act as the divisional anchor for technical expertise, maintenance excellence, and process optimization, supporting factories in improving performance and building technical capability.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, but it requires strong collaboration within a matrix organization, working closely with factory technical teams, divisional stakeholders, and global functions to align priorities and deliver results.
Our division operates multiple production sites across Europe, you can be based in one of our CEE factories: Namysłów, Gniezno, Fertőd, Partizánske, or Vyškov and you will report to Krystian Żurek, Senior Vice President, Window Division, giving you the opportunity to work in a truly international environment.
You can expect travel of approximately 30% of your time across the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Implement global TS standards, processes, and methodologies across all production sites in the division.
2. Coordinate divisional deployment of technical improvement projects, including automation, digitalization, and maintenance optimization.
3. Monitor divisional technical performance (efficiency, compliance, safety, quality) and identify improvement opportunities.
4. Support factories in technical documentation, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
5. Facilitate knowledge sharing, benchmarking, and best practice exchange across production sites.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for divisional management, factory technical managers, and global TS regarding technical initiatives.
7. Lead divisional technical improvement programs, allocate resources, and coordinate activities to achieve divisional targets.
8. Provide structured feedback to the global team for continuous improvement.
9. Support divisional training and capability building in technical services.
What We’re Looking For
10. Proven project and program management experience (e.g. leading large technical projects and implementation, CAPEX Investments etc.)
11. Strong background in manufacturing or production environments, ideally with experience in multi-site operations, including technical services management and documentation.
12. Proven collaboration with maintenance technicians, industrial engineers, or technical teams.
13. Experience in deploying standards and coordinating cross-functional technical programs.
14. Solid understanding of maintenance strategies, equipment reliability, and process improvement.
15. Analytical skills for performance monitoring and improvement.
16. Effective communicator and influencer, able to translate global strategy into actionable divisional plans.
17. Collaborative mindset, able to facilitate knowledge sharing and support factory teams.
