Location: Remote within DACH Region & Italy
John Charles Search is recruiting for a leading mobile robotics solutions provider with a strong presence in global intralogistics and manufacturing automation. Our client has deployed thousands of mobile robots across 50+ industries worldwide and continues to expand its footprint in Europe.
We are seeking a Sales Director to lead strategic growth initiatives across the DACH region. This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly innovative robotics company and to drive adoption of cutting-edge warehouse and manufacturing automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop & Execute Sales Strategy: Own and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets in DACH & Italia.
* Market Intelligence: Gather insights on customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends to guide strategy.
* Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline across target industries.
* Contract & Negotiation Management: Lead contract negotiations and manage order-to-cash processes, including receivables tracking.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure high-quality solution deployment and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Minimum 5+ years in project-based sales of automation or intralogistics solutions.
* Proven track record in solution selling, ideally in 3PL, WMS, robotics, or logistics automation.
* Strong industry network in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, logistics, or manufacturing.
* High levels of self-motivation, resilience, and market insight.
* Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Fluent in German and English; additional European languages advantageous.
