Our Clinical Digital team designs smart, scalable data solutions to improve decision-making across engineering, operations, product, and finance.To scale this mission, we are hiring a hands-on Tech Lead who can code, connect with stakeholders, and support the team technically.
Your mission
As a Data Tech Lead, you will oversee the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of data systems to address business priorities, while guiding a team of data engineers and data scientists. Your role includes optimizing data processes, enabling data-driven decision-making through robust reporting and advanced analytics, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions. You'll coach and upskill team members, define best practices for operational data management, and drive innovation by exploring new technologies. Additionally, you will collaborate with data architects and tech leads from other entities to ensure architectural consistency and support a long-term, scalable data vision. You report directly to the Data Manager of the team.
Key responsibilities
1. Build and scale data pipelines and architecture (Data Lake, Data Warehouse)
2. Lead technical design and problem-solving with the team
3. Act as the primary technical contact for business and technical colleagues (Product Owners, Power Platform Developers, Analysts …)
4. Coordinate data engineering and data science workstreamsActs as a key advocate for data quality, reliability, and system performance
5. Troubleshoot production issues and support operational needs
6. Collaborate closely with the Data Architect and Tech Leads from other teams/entities
Your profile
7. Proven experience in both data engineering and data science
8. Experience as a technical lead or senior developer working across teams
9. Strong communication skills to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholdersStrong skills in Python, Spark, SQL (DBT), Git, and Azure (or other cloud providers)
10. Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices
11. Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Dagster, TerraformKnowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
12. Exposure to streaming or IoT dataFluent in English (C1) and French is a plus
13. Interest in software and architectural design
