As Financial Controller for the Offshore Operations business in Germany you are responsible to coordinate the Controlling activities for several offshore wind farms.
About the role
1. Operational planning and reporting, and the mid-term planning for several offshore wind farms.
2. Monitor financial and operational KPI’s on a monthly basis
3. Advise site managers in order to improve financial performance and value for the assets
4. Manage, develop and coordinate reporting and planning processes for the business area
5. Undertake project work in order to standardize and develop reporting practices for the new combined business
6. Liaise with internal counterparties within the RWE group (Accounting,Tax, Central Controlling etc) and external stakeholders in our assets
7. Act as financial business partner for Offshore management in order to identify innovative solutions and safeguard successful development of the business
Job requirements and experience
8. Completed university studies in Business Administration, Finance or Controlling or similar experience
9. Several years of professional experience in controlling issues as well as very good knowledge of the value drivers in Offshore Wind
10. Advanced umerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format
11. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish and develop effective working relationships both within the Controlling team and the wider business
12. High level of self-organisation, personal engagement, energy and flexibility
13. Familiarity with SAP/MS Office
14. Fluent in English and German
15. Ability to work effectively across different countries and cultures
