Schwarz IT KG is the central IT service provider and is responsible for the selection, provision, operation, and continuing development of IT infrastructure, IT platforms, and business applications. Schwarz IT provides IT services to Kaufland and Lidl, as well as to Schwarz Dienstleistung KG and Schwarz Zentrale Dienste KG. As a Stibo STEP Software Engineer, you will play a key role in driving digital transformation within our company:
Your Tasks
* As a member of a solution team, you are responsible for the technical design and implementation of Stibo STEP applications, as well as providing technical support.
* During development, the focus is on robust and scalable technical design, prioritizing factors such as performance, security, and maintainability.
* In line with your end-to-end responsibility, you maintain an overview of the system and the development process, identify weaknesses, and actively coordinate improvements.
* You ensure that your solutions meet business requirements and comply with our software development guidelines.
* You communicate effectively and provide reliable support.
* Sharing knowledge motivates you and is a reflection of your active role within the team.
Your Profile
* A successfully completed university degree in Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
* Development experience in Product Information Management (PIM), ideally with Stibo STEP, including data modeling/configurations, workflows, business rule development, Web UI configuration, and match-and-merge algorithms.
* Proficiency in Java/JavaScript, data modeling, and RDBMS systems such as Oracle.
* Experience with system integration and API development using Web Services, XML, JSON, and REST.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
* A passion for IT systems and a drive to advance digital change.
* Fluent in English. German language skills are an advantage.
