Key Responsibilities:
* Design and document scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures using modern web technologies.
* Lead technical decision-making across projects and ensure alignment with long-term business goals.
* Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
* Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Review code and provide mentorship to engineering teams.
* Optimize application performance and scalability on the AWS cloud platform.
* Ensure security and compliance standards are integrated into all stages of development.
* Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and approaches to enhance development efficiency.
Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
* 3+ years of experience in an architect or senior technical leadership role.
* Solid knowledge of microservices, API design, and system integration.
* AWS (experience with typical containerized app deployments and data lakes)
* Python
* Good experience (i.g. performance tuning, application profiling) with 1-2 additional popular tech stacks (e.g Java, Go, R&R)
* RDBMS (schema design, SQL query tuning and profiling)
* System design experience (be able to choose tech stack, storages, architecture and explain why)
* Solution design experience (be able to propose implementation plan, releases, milestones and manage the scope)
* Requirements gathering, clarification and scope estimation
