We are looking for a Back Office Officer to support trade settlements and ensure accurate processing of invoices and financial documentation across trading operations.
Key responsibilities:
* Review and process trade-related invoices (freight, demurrage, storage, inspections, etc.)
* Verify quantities, pricing, and contractual terms
* Ensure completeness of supporting documents (BL, SOF, LOI, etc.)
* Coordinate discrepancies with counterparties
* Monitor receivables/payables and support trade settlements
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT, and internal policies
* Support reconciliations, reporting, and audits
* Maintain accurate cost records and improve processes
Requirements:
* 2–5 years in trading back office / logistics / shipping
* Solid understanding of trade lifecycle
* Strong attention to detail and Excel skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Good communication skills
* CTRM experience is a plus
* Fluent English (German is an advantage)
