As part of the Systems and Service Solutions Business Unit, it supports customer projects throughout the entire lifecycle - particularly for retrofit, service, and modernization projects for existing plants.
For our location in Gummersbach, we are looking for a Procurement Manager (m/f/d) starting at the earliest possible date.
As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial aspects of procurement across the entire contract lifecycle - from the request for quotation (RFQ) to the end of the execution and warranty phase.
Through your experience and insights from project execution, you will contribute to cost optimization, continuous process improvement, and achieving company KPIs.
Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, risk management, compliance, and governance requirements.
Collaborating closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Sourcing, and Category Management teams to successfully implement project requirements.
Monitoring market trends, innovations, and supplier developments to support and further develop sourcing strategies.
Using data analytics to support decision-making, improve supply chain processes, and achieve procurement KPIs.
Developing and optimizing procurement processes and tools using Lean principles and best practices.
Completed degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, including claims management.
Experience with ERP systems and MS Office.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as experience in stakeholder management.
Very good German and English skills (C1), intercultural competence, and ability to work under pressure.
