As a Lead Java Backend Developer (m/f/x) you will be building high-performance backend systems for electronic trading in a latency-sensitive environment.

Your key responsibilities
1. Working on business and functional requirements, technical analysis and design
2. Prototyping new features, meeting business needs and solving challenging technical problems
3. Contributing to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
4. Reviewing other team member’s code and mentoring junior developers. Be ready to lead a sub-team.
5. Collaborating with QA team on test automation and with Dev Ops on continues SDLC and environment management improvements
Your skills and experiences
6. Good math and strong knowledge of algorithms and complexity
7. Excellent knowledge of core Java (collections, multi-threading, networking) – 5+ years
8. Experience implementing fault-tolerant / load-balancing solutions, experience in performance optimisation of multi-threaded Java applications
9. Good knowledge of Linux, basic knowledge of SQL relational databases solutions, good knowledge of messaging solutions
10. Good written and spoken English
