About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our strategic project management team. As a SAP Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving complex projects that transform our IT system landscape in alignment with business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Taking ownership of analysis and coordination of global process and requirement elaboration in alignment with business representatives and IT experts.
* Ensuring successful implementation of distributed IT and process architecture, including S/4 HANA, within set timelines and budgets.
* Leading governance for specification, standardization, and customization needs.
* Driving evaluation and incorporation of defined processes into ZEISS Global Templates.
* Monitoring implementation progress to identify deviations and initiate necessary countermeasures.
* Considering and integrating local needs and requirements into global implementation.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* An excellent degree from a leading university in engineering, business, or computer science.
* Strong experience in change management and complex transformation projects.
* At least 3 years of experience in leading medium to large-scale process implementation programs with multi-software, cloud solutions, and SAP.
* Experience with programs focused on SAP S4 HANA and non-SAP processes in distributed micro-service-based cloud environments.
* Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, ideally including German.
* A comprehensive understanding of the overall SAP and non-SAP landscape, as well as interdependencies between other modules and cross-functional integration.
* Ability to deal with diverse stakeholders regarding standardization and customization needs.
* Capacity to thrive in fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environments.
