Contract: Permanent
We’re supporting an established infrastructure and geoinformation group in Eastern Germany in creating a brand‑new Georadar (GPR) division — and we’re looking for a Project Manager who wants to shape, design, and lead this exciting new area.
Your Impact
You will take full responsibility for delivering demanding GPR projects across major infrastructure environments. You will drive the technical development of new GPR systems, oversee acquisition and analysis processes, ensure data quality, and lead a specialist team.
This is a rare opportunity to contribute to method development, system design, technical leadership, and strategic growth in a rapidly developing field.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage end‑to‑end GPR projects—from proposal through completion
* Design and develop GPR measurement systems, including rail‑mounted solutions
* Plan and execute field data acquisition under varied, sometimes challenging conditions
* Ensure rigorous quality management of raw data and processed outputs
* Analyse GPR data to identify subsurface structures, anomalies, moisture, and condition indicators
* Present results, insights, and recommendations to clients
* Lead and coordinate a team of survey technicians and data analysts
What You Bring
* A completed Master’s/Diploma degree in Geophysics, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related technical field
* 1-2 years of hands‑on GPR experience, ideally within infrastructure inspection
* Strong skills in GPR software (e.g., GPR Slice, RadarView) and GIS tools
* Business‑fluent German; English an advantage
* Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
* Willingness to travel; Class B driving licence
