About the job The team within the Business Solution Area “Handling and Storage” is responsible to develop and support all Solutions needed to operate a logistic unit. With Solutions we mean the tools used to run and develop our business - supported by information technology. We ensure that the IKEA Handling and Storage Solutions fit in the overall digital landscape - in line with guidingframeworks like security, enterprise architecture and information management. We are looking for Solution Architects for our portfolio of Warehouse ManagementSolutions, Base data- and Material Flow Control Solutions. As a SolutionArchitect you will create high level designs of IT solutions, guide the low level design and govern the implementation and provide in-depth expertise about Solutions, technology and their implementation at IKEA. Qualifications About the assignment In this role you will: Shape ideas in close collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders into concrete, robust and appropriate solution architecture andtransition roadmaps. Communicate the Solution architecture- and transition roadmaps to relevantbusiness and ITstakeholders within and across organisations. Seek understandingand agreement to ensurealigned and consistent solutionimplementations across the IKEASolutions. Ensure that the solutionarchitecture and roadmaps complies with relevant policies,principles, rules and standards. Coordinate and align solution designtowards other system and initiate change requests. About you To be able to perform in this position we believeyou have: Workingexperience in Information Technology and experience in applicationarchitecture Understandingof frameworks such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), theIT4IT component model, ITIL and other software modelling techniques Familiaritywith current concepts, industry standards and trends (applicationarchitecture concepts and reference architecture) including agiledevelopment e.g. SCRUM Basic knowledgeand skills in business development, requirement management and test methods Interest andability to travel within Europe as well as intercontinental As a person, you have strong analytical skills - being able tostructure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of them. Youhave passion in listening, coaching and facilitating and have goodinterpersonal as well as intercultural skills.
