JOIN OUR DC OPS ORGANIZATION IN DISTRIBUTION CENTER (DC) SERVICE & PLANNING TEAM
The DC Service & Planning Team Europe supports the business and DC Operations by owning all across DC services outside DC´s 4 walls to support. This includes Delivery Quality, Systemically Stock Control & Interfaces, Customer Requirement Implementation, Reporting as well as channel execution planning and management.
As an DC Service & Planning Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to operational planning and analysis processes within the European DC OPS Organization. You will support reporting, data analysis, planning tasks and stakeholder communication while gaining exposure to IT tools, systems and methodologies. This internship provides hands-on experience working with DCs and SCM stakeholders across Europe.
GROW YOUR CAPABILITIES THROUGH MEANINGFUL TASKS & PROJECTS
* Support in forecasting and planning activities
* Assist in reporting and transparency enhancement, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data
* Maintain and update information in reporting and planning systems
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance transparency in financial reporting.
* Supporting Values-added-services (VAS) business: Updating booklets, supporting customer implementation and ensuring transparency for VAS activities in Europe.
* Translating forecast into capacity planning and execution for DTC channels in all EU DCs. Daily monitoring and providing visibility on DC performance (DC SLA, COTIF), analyzing root causes to drive enhancements and continuous improvement.
* Tracking and supporting special campaigns, events, as well as Store Openings.
* Support in analyzing differences and potential system cleaning activities within SAP AFS.
* Compare auditor`s requests (PwC) with existing DC set-ups and recommend further improvements.
* Gain exposure to tools such as WMS, Power BI and Excel
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A MATCH
* University degree in progress (Bachelor or Master) in Economics, Supply Chain / Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
* Strong interest in Supply Chain, communication and business analysis.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
* Collaborative mindset, with willingness to learn in a multicultural environment.
* Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while being a team player.
* Fluency in English, German language skills are a plus

* Monthly gross allowance: non-compulsory internship 2.350,00€, compulsory internship 1.780,00€ (Difference due to different taxation, net will be the same)
ELIGIBILITY
* Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
* Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
* Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate)
* Availability for the full duration of the internship from September 2026 – March 2027
* Ability to relocate to Rieste region in Germany for the full duration of the internship
