We seek:
In Faculty IV – Faculty of Sciences and Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science ET-I, Chair of Computer Graphics and Multimedia Systems, we are looking for a research assistant to start on November 1, 2025, under the following conditions:
* Working hours: 100% position
* Pay grade 13 TV-L
* Fixed-term contract for three yeas
Your tasks:
* Research in the field of Visual Computing related to computer graphics, e.g., in the areas of neural graphics, shape analysis, rendering, visualization, or graphical simulation.
* Implementation, and evaluation of the developed methods, as well as publication of the scientific results.
* Participation in teaching and supervision of student projects (bachelor’s, master’s, and project theses)
* The teaching load is 4 semester hours per week
Your profile:
* Scientific university degree (master's degree or comparable) in computer science or related fields
* Very good knowledge of computer graphics
* Very good programming skills
* Commitment coupled with the ability to work in a team as well as communicative and organizational skills
* Very good knowledge of English
* Prior knowledge in one or more of the following areas is desirable: 3D scene reconstruction and machine learning, visualization, hardware-accelerated simulation
