You take full ownership of daily operations for our SaaS applications in cloud environments, ensuring reliability, optimal performance, and strict adherence to SLAs - Building on this, you establish and maintain operational governance for both COTS and third-party SaaS solutions, consistently aligning processes with enterprise, security, and regulatory requirements - As the primary service owner, you lead incident management and hands-on troubleshooting, conducting Root Cause Analysis and post-mortems to drive operational excellence - To ensure ongoing improvement, you develop and refine runbooks, operational workflows, KPIs, and escalation processes, while closely coordinating with service providers and vendors to guarantee SLA compliance - Finally, you collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Security, Architecture, Finance, and external partners to align cloud operations with strategic business goals and execute end-to-end improvement initiatives
Education - You hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering with long-term experience in cloud operations, ideally within an international R&D environment
Experience & Skills - Longterm experience operating SaaS applications in cloud environments with full-service ownership - Proven expertise in incident management, problem solving, and multi-vendor coordination - Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, containerized architectures, and hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, EKS, RDS), Terraform, AWS CDK/CDKTF, GitLab pipelines, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Datadog, and high-level programming knowledge in Node.NET, and Python
Ways of working - You are an operations-focused leader with a strong hands-on mentality, structured governance approach, and excellent communication skills across all stakeholder groups
Languages - Excellent English skills are required
