A leading mid-market investment banking advisory firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to join its Healthcare M&A team in Frankfurt. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in a high-performing, entrepreneurial environment, advising on complex, cross-border transactions across the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
The successful candidate will bring deep sector knowledge, strong execution capabilities, and a passion for delivering strategic solutions to clients ranging from growth-stage innovators to established global healthcare players.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the execution of M&A transactions across the healthcare sector, including deal structuring, valuation, negotiation, and closing.
* Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality analysis and deliverables.
* Support origination efforts by identifying new business opportunities and contributing to pitch development.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and industry stakeholders.
* Oversee the preparation of financial models, marketing materials, and transaction documentation.
* Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare space.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* 6-9 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a strong focus on healthcare or life sciences.
* Proven track record of leading and executing mid- to large-cap transactions.
* Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including pharma, biotech, medtech, and healthcare services.
* Strong technical skills in financial modelling, valuation, and deal execution.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
* Fluent in English and German is essential.
* Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
