We are currently looking for a visionary Color & Trim Designer (m/f/d) in a senior position for our client from the automotive industry in the greater Frankfurt am Main area. In this role, you will act as a stylist and material expert: you will define the "skin" of the vehicle and play a key role in determining whether the interior feels luxurious, sporty or sustainable.

Your tasks
7. Design development: Independent creation of innovative color & trim concepts from the first draft to the final series release.
8. Material expertise: Selection and definition of paint colors, leather haptics, textiles and the definition of grains and decors.
9. Visualization: Perfect digital representation of material collages and 3D models for presentation to decision-making bodies and the Executive Board.
10. Interface management: Close cooperation with workshops, pattern makers, material development and purchasing to check technical and economic feasibility.
11. Business focus: Creation of trim lists and coordination of cost and program specifications while adhering to the design strategy.
Your profile
12. Qualifications: Completed studies (Bachelor/Diploma/Master) in Automotive Design, Industrial Design or a comparable field.
13. Experience: Relevant senior professional experience in the field of automotive design is essential; you can "hit the ground running" immediately.
14. Creativity: Visionary thinking and a deep understanding of brand form language, surface textures and color trends.
15. Software skills:
Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator: totally confident in creating renderings and patterns.
Autodesk VRED: Highly competent in high-end visualization (material mapping, light simulation).
Additional knowledge: Experience with Substance Painter, KeyShot or Excel (trim lists) is an advantage.
16. Languages: Fluency in German and business fluent in written and spoken English.
