About AET and this Internship
As an innovative „Edtech“ aviation startup, we are AZAV-certified and continuously develop new digital learning products and training services for commercial pilots worldwide. Founded by active commercial pilots, we operate at the intersection of aviation, education and modern technology. To strengthen our team at our location in Digichurch Aachen, we are looking for a motivated intern who will support the further development, digitalisation and AI-driven automation of our Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AZAV requirements.

Minimum requirements
• Ongoing or completed studies in Business Administration, Economics, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
• Structured, careful and reliable way of working
• High motivation, attention to detail and ability to work independently
• MS Office knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good internet connection
• Good spelling in German and English
Desirable
• Ideally you live in Aachen or the surrounding area
• First knowledge of QM systems, AZAV, ISO 9001 or comparable standards
• Confident use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Microsoft Copilot – especially in the context of process automation and documentation
• Microsoft Office 365 knowledge (Teams, SharePoint, Loop, Planner, OneNote, …)
• Interest in aviation, pilot training and EdTech
• Experience with document management, version control or workflow automation (e.g. Power Automate)
• Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, JavaScript) – a plus, not a must
Your tasks
• Maintenance and further development of our QM manual and process documentation (versioning, revision levels, approvals)
• Preparation and follow-up of internal audits (audit checklists, protocols, tracking of corrective actions)
• Maintenance of AZAV-related documentation (TQ-/measure records, statistics and proof files)
• Support in the creation and rollout of new AZAV training measures (Maßnahmenanlage and approval files)
• Digitalisation and AI-supported automation of QM processes – e.g. automated document review, AI-assisted audit preparation, intelligent search across QM records
• Co-design of AI prompts, workflows and small automations (Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, custom GPTs) to make our QMS faster and smarter
• Support in keeping training- and trainer records up to date
