Wir suchen einen erfahrenen M&A IT Integration Manager zur Leitung der IT-Integration eines neu akquirierten Softwareunternehmens im Bereich Fenster- und Türenindustrie. Das akquirierende Unternehmen ist ein paneuropäischer Anbieter spezialisierter Softwarelösungen für Industrie- und Fertigungsunternehmen mit starkem Wachstum durch Akquisitionen und einem dezentralen Betriebsmodell.
Diese Rolle ist entscheidend für die reibungslose Integration der IT-Landschaft des akquirierten Unternehmens in die bestehende Gruppenstruktur unter Berücksichtigung von Standardisierung und Geschäftskontinuität.
Aufgaben
* Leitung der End-to-End-IT-Integration eines neu akquirierten Unternehmens
* Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Integrationsstrategien für Infrastruktur, Applikationen und Benutzerumgebungen
* Steuerung der Migration und Konsolidierung von IT-Systemen, einschließlich:
* AWS-/Cloud-Umgebungen
* On-Premise- und hybride Serverinfrastrukturen
* Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
* Planung und Durchführung des Rollouts sowie der Konfiguration von Endgeräten (z. B. Dell-Laptops)
* Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen Onboardings der Nutzer in Unternehmenssysteme, Identitäts- und Sicherheitsstrukturen
* Anpassung der IT-Systeme an Gruppenstandards, Richtlinien und Tools
* Hauptansprechpartner für IT-Integrationsfragen in beiden Organisationen
* Förderung der Systemakzeptanz und aktives Management von Widerständen
* Identifikation und Minimierung von Risiken zur Sicherstellung eines störungsfreien Betriebs
* Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen und funktionsübergreifenden Teams
Anforderungen
* Nachweisbare Erfahrung in der IT-Integration im M&A-Umfeld (zwingend erforderlich)
* Fundierte Kenntnisse in Enterprise-IT-Infrastruktur, einschließlich AWS, End-User-Computing und VDI
* Erfahrung in der Integration von Softwareunternehmen, idealerweise im industriellen oder ERP-Umfeld
* Ausgeprägte Führungskompetenz und Durchsetzungsfähigkeit
* Fähigkeit, in komplexen, internationalen Strukturen zu arbeiten
* Hands-on-Mentalität mit ausgeprägten Problemlösungsfähigkeiten
* Deutsch auf muttersprachlichem Niveau sowie Englischkenntnisse auf professionellem Niveau

Overview
We are seeking an experienced M&A IT Integration Manager to lead the IT integration of a newly acquired software business operating within the Windows and Doors industry. The acquiring organisation is a pan-European provider of specialised software solutions supporting industrial and manufacturing businesses, with a strong track record of growth through acquisitions and a decentralised operating model.
This role is critical to ensuring the seamless integration of the acquired company’s IT landscape into the wider group environment, balancing standardisation with business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end IT integration for a newly acquired business
* Define and execute integration strategies across infrastructure, applications, and user environments
* Oversee migration and consolidation of IT systems, including:
* AWS/cloud environments
* On-premise and hybrid server infrastructure
* Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
* Manage rollout and configuration of end-user hardware (e.g., Dell laptops)
* Ensure smooth onboarding of users into corporate systems, identity, and security frameworks
* Align IT systems with group standards, policies, and tooling
* Act as the primary IT integration lead across both organisations
* Drive adoption of new systems and manage resistance to change where necessary
* Identify and mitigate risks to ensure minimal disruption to operations
* Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams
Key Requirements
* Proven experience delivering IT integrations in M&A environments (essential)
* Strong background in enterprise IT infrastructure, including AWS, end-user computing, and VDI
* Experience integrating software businesses, ideally within industrial or ERP-driven environments
* Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and drive change
* Ability to operate in complex, international environments
* Hands-on, pragmatic approach with strong problem-solving skills
* Native German speaker with professional proficiency in English
* Must be able to reliably commute on-site to Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, including travel to the UK
Preferred Experience
* Experience in acquisitive, multi-entity software organisations
* Familiarity with ERP or industrial software solutions
* Experience in decentralised IT environments
* Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
