Commercial and Procurement Manager (Technical Projects)
We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and commercial strength into a technical environment. Someone who understands how money moves through a company, who takes responsibility for timing, purchasing decisions, financial impact and supplier relationships, and who enjoys working closely with engineering, project management and leadership.
This role strengthens the commercial backbone of our business. It connects procurement, cost awareness and financial thinking across projects and at company level. If you enjoy working with numbers, suppliers and technical teams, and want real involvement in how a company operates and grows, this position may be a good fit.

AHT CleanTec is a clean energy solutions provider specializing in decentralized, modular systems that convert biomass into hydrogen, syngas, and biochar. Were expanding our in-house team to strengthen our role as a reliable energy provider.
What you will do
Commercial and financial responsibility
o Build and maintain cost transparency across components, systems and products
o Support budgeting and company-level cost planning
o Contribute to discussions on financial direction and longer-term positioning
o Understand how individual commercial decisions affect overall business performance
o Prepare clear commercial input for management decisions
Procurement and supplier responsibility
o Take responsibility for supplier selection, evaluation and ongoing development
o Identify manufacturers and sourcing alternatives
o Make purchasing decisions based on cost, timing, availability and risk
o Plan ordering activities with cashflow and operational needs in mind
o Maintain oversight of supplier performance and cost structures
Working with technical and project teams
o Work closely with engineering to understand technical requirements and cost drivers
o Support project teams with commercial input at relevant decision points
o Translate technical choices into financial and commercial implications
o Align procurement, finance and operational priorities
Structure and future readiness
o Help establish clear and practical commercial and procurement structures
o Prepare data and processes for future ERP integration
o Improve consistency, transparency and decision quality as the organisation develops
Who this role fits
