The BP Filtration Sales Specialist (d/f/m) is responsible for Supports all relevant call points across Bioprocess where Filtration Consumables products are sold. Provide support to Account Managers with expert product knowledge, training and support, whilst working to generate sales from new and existing customers. This role should be able to evaluate a customer's process to identify solutions and provide the necessary tools, information and support to obtain additional sales and identify new opportunities.This position reports to the BP Zone Filtration Lead and is part of the Account/Direct Sales department based in Germany. The role will be remote, covering the North/West region, including Kiel, Hannover, Hamburg, Bremen, etc.What you will do:Responsible for contributing information to sales strategies and account plans, as part of the core account teamPrimarily focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and surrounding single use designs within their region, and supports all Filtration Consumables Products and process related single use technologies are sold both by providing the Account Manager in sales process with product expertise as well as independently identifying opportunitiesDevelop the sales of modality solutions in the assigned sales region/territory, establishing long lasting technical customer relationshipsProvide high level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional eventsDevelop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets. Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related fieldSeveral years of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology industryIn-depth expertise in filtration hardware and related consumablesProven ability to drive cross-selling, upselling, value positioning, and effective funnel managementFluent in German and English, with strong communication and negotiation skillsTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to travel – 40% travel, overnight, within territoryMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordCytiva, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
