Overview
We are seeking Mechanical Engineers with strong expertise in HVAC, ventilation, and sanitary systems to join an engineering team in Germany. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex biopharmaceutical, life science, and cleanroom facilities, ensuring compliance with German building standards and GMP requirements. Depending on experience, opportunities are available at Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Lead Engineer levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, review, and implement HVAC and sanitary systems for biopharma, life sciences, and cleanroom projects.
* Develop technical specifications, calculations, and design documentation in accordance with German standards (DIN/EN) and GMP guidelines.
* Coordinate across disciplines (electrical, automation, process, civil) to deliver fully integrated engineering solutions.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship for project teams (Senior/Lead Engineer levels).
* Support procurement, vendor selection, and oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
* Conduct site inspections, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
* Contribute to value engineering, sustainability initiatives, and energy-efficient design solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or Building Services (TGA).
* Strong background in HVAC, ventilation, and sanitary design for biopharma, life science, or cleanroom facilities.
* Deep knowledge of German building codes, DIN/EN standards, and GMP compliance.
* Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM-based platforms.
* Demonstrated experience in delivering large-scale industrial or pharmaceutical projects in Germany.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
* Fluency in German (mandatory) and good English language skills.
