About the Role:
A global leader in medical technology manufacturing is looking for a German Tax Manager to take full ownership of all German tax matters across six local entities. In this strategic and hands‑on role, you will oversee and advise on:
Corporate Income Tax (CIT)
VAT and WHT
Transfer Pricing
Pillar 2 requirements
Non‑routine compliance filings
German tax audits and direct interactions with external authorities
You will be the central tax point of contact for internal stakeholders and external advisors, supporting business projects, restructurings, and cross‑border initiatives across Europe, the US, India, and Asia.

While day‑to‑day compliance is handled by accounting, your mandate is to bring Technical depth in German corporate tax, sound judgement and risk awareness, operational leadership and high‑quality tax governance.
This position is especially suited to someone with strong German tax experience, ideally from a Big 4 environment or a tax‑focused corporate role, who enjoys a mix of technical problem‑solving and close business partnering.
What You Bring:
Deep knowledge of German tax law and compliance processes
Experience managing tax audits and coordinating with external advisors
Strength in transfer pricing, CIT, VAT, and ideally exposure to Pillar 2
Fluent German and English communication skills
A proactive, structured, and solution‑oriented mindset
