We are searching for a Senior Brand Manager (m/f/d) for our Palmolive Personal Care brand to join our team full time in Hamburg as soon as possible.
Job Purpose
The Senior Brand Manager (m/f/d) develops Product Strategies 5Ps based on overall Category and Brand Strategies and on shopper and customer insights for our CEW business (Germany, Austria & Switzerland). Works closely with both Retail Marketing and Customer Development to develop strategies and tactics to meet established sales, market share and overall company goals.
Responsibilities:
* Development and implementation of strong brand strategies/plans and support programs for our products.
* Develop product strategy and 5Ps by product based on consumer and shopper expertise/insights.
* Planning, implementing and tracking of new product launches and re-launches in close collaboration with International Marketing department and local Customer Development Teams.
* Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for products/services.
* Develop 5P’s communication tools in strong collaboration with Retail Marketing for Customer Development to execute the plans.
* Responsible for 5P’s tracking, for continuously monitoring and working with Customer Development for corrections when needed.
* Interact with external partners including media & advertising agencies, trade customers, cooperation partners, market research consultants.
* Define budget reviews/mid-year review volume plans & financial goals by category aligned with commercial team.
* Direct report of 1 Brand Manager.
Qualifications:
* College or University degree.
* A proven track record of performance with 4 to 6 years of work experience in Brand Management.
* Business knowledge and understanding on category and brand strategies.
* Ability to manage different promotions and activation (BTL, ATL) at the same time.
* Ability to build good relationship with Customer Development and Retail Marketing to implement the strategies, to build activity grid and achieve marketing objectives.
* Financial knowledge (P&L) to recommend initiatives that brings financial results and understanding the impact on the business and ROI.
* Fluent in English and German.
