Your mission
We run a regenerative farm in the Spreewald, southeast of Berlin. The aim of the farm is to regenerate agricultural land and co-create a functioning agricultural and holistic ecosystem. The farm supplies fresh and vital ingredients for the kitchen of the Michelberger Restaurant in Berlin.
We are looking for support in the following areas of farming from 1st of march 2026:
* Carrying out cultivation work (e.g. in fruit, berry and vegetable crops in the open field)
* Managing the crops in the market garden
* Educational work in the form of guided tours of the syntropic food forest and instruction of interns
* Planning, fertilising and carrying out maintenance measures
* Managing the crops
* Recording and documenting the harvest
Your profile
* Completed training as a gardener (specialising in vegetable, ornamental plant or fruit cultivation) or a comparable qualification; ideally with knowledge of Demeter or Bioland farming methods.
* Sound knowledge of plant cultivation in horticultural/agricultural production as well as knowledge of plant diseases and pests.
* An independent way of working, quick comprehension, willingness to learn, reliability and diligence.
* Ability to work in a team, resilience and the ability to keep track of things even in hectic phases.
* Good written and spoken German and English skills and confident use of Excel.
* Class B driving licence (ideally with a trailer licence) or willingness to operate agricultural machinery.
