The Custom Consulting Team in Industry Solutions Delivery leads the way in accelerating adoption of the Microsoft platform and driving AI Transformation. Our organization is at the forefront of innovation, driving value across the entirety of the customers’ digital and AI transformation journey through repeatable and customized cutting-edge solutions. Industry Solutions Delivery is a global organization hosting over 5,000 strategic sellers, industry experts, world-class data scientists and architects, consultants, and delivery specialists.

As an EMEA Custom Consulting Executive in our Custom Consulting Team, you will lead, orchestrate and drive customer value by being at the heart of custom deal making in a sales capacity. Your impact across the region will be significant as you expand Microsoft’s AI Transformation influence & strategic partnership footprint. You will achieve this through the ownership of large strategic opportunities from inception to successful business outcomes for our customers. You will build your knowledge of cutting-edge technologies as you present solutions that enhance cloud consumption for our customers.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities

* Partnering with local leaders and their sales teams, establishing strong partnerships and driving a consistent Cross-CSA approach aligned to company strategy and applying a regional approach to meet customer needs. Strong stakeholder engagement with SPT and Area MCAPSSales teams.
* Bringing impactful technology and industry insights into customer engagements and closes deals with customers, and coaches and influences others internally on how to do this. Leverage deep sales & delivery experience to drive a consultative sale and build trust with C level executives.
* Influencing Microsoft's strategic direction across various markets. Leading a virtual cross-organizational team on strategic projects and high impact solution sales deployments that enable digital transformation and deliver business value. Leveraging CSA assets and consulting IP (functions and industry) to deliver customer transformation.
* Actively participating in the sales planning, orchestration and deal closure leveraging Microsoft’s sales methodology. Shaping and selling custom consulting solutions with technical acumen that maximize Microsoft investments.
* Providing deal coaching and shaping by encouraging cross area learning and insights within the solution area to the value of both our customers and wider Microsoft teams. Working seamlessly with the wider account team, building and strengthening relationships across the Microsoft teams to drive consumption; putting AI at the forefront of everything we do.
* Continuously building sales expertise, learning and evolving Transformative solutions knowledge to support customers and the wider one Microsoft team and investing in personal development.


Qualifications

* Strong experience in solution-based selling across one or more of the CSAs. Able to effectively position cross-CSA offerings and align customer needs with our portfolio.
* Strong Experience selling into commercial or public sector accounts, with an understanding of industry trends and challenges. Demonstrated ability to tailor solutions to industry-specific needs and significantly contribute to account planning.
* Experience interacting with senior stakeholders, with growing confidence in navigating C-level relationships. Capable of driving executive meetings and articulating the value proposition of our solutions.
* Exposure to consulting or solution architecture practices. Able to collaborate effectively with technical and consulting teams to develop and propose customer solutions.
* Experience driving the sales cycle for digital transformation initiatives. Proven ability to drive value conversations and position solutions aligned with transformation goals.


Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or a related field with proven industry sales experience in the commercial or public sector (e.g., Finance, Local Government), or a Master’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field with a strong background in technology sales within similar sectors.
* Additionally, substantial experience in consulting solution sales and delivery is highly desirable.
