The Project Engineer is responsible for Mechanical Detail Engineering of Food & Beverage filtration systems. You will Plan, develop, and follow the processes (internal/external) necessary to design, and deliver engineering technical documentation Filtration systems, as per technical requirements, within budget and with the specified quality with our partners (suppliers). The majors KPIs will be Right First Time, On time and process compliance.
This position is part of the Food & Beverage-Engineering dept and will be located Onsite in Bad Kreuznach, Germany to support Food & Beverage Global Project Engineering team.
Take ownership for Engineering activities for the projects. To manage Engineering changes that may come up during the course of the project including all related information and communication / agreements w/r to cost/time impacts.
Detailed understanding of Hygienic international codes and standards like EHEDG, ASME BPE, AWS D18.3, filtration separation and purification technologies used in the processing (Direct flow filtration, cross flow filtration, stabilization) food and beverage process equipment.
As a technical expert/coach, the Mechanical Project Engineer shall act as a point of contact within the team to develop the organization by coaching both internal and external partners on their daily work and critical technical issues that require specific knowledge and experience in the field.
Tech/ (Mechanical/Chemical/Food Technology). Minimum 5-6 years of experience of detail engineering of equipment used in Food and beverage, Chemical, Biopharma, Project industry
Be prepared to travel domestically or abroad, etc.
Fluency in both German and English communication skills required.
Use of MS Office tools, SAP MM&PP, CAD Viewer.
Experience in qualification activities (FAT/SAT) for process equipment in the food and beverage or equivalent industry.
Experience of working with 3D CAD Systems (Autodesk Inventor;
