And we're just getting started.

Doctrine employs over 230 people and has been growing steadily and profitably for several years. In 2025, we entered in a new phase, becoming multi-country and multi-product. After launching in our first international market, Italy, Doctrine is continuing its global expansion with Germany. We are therefore looking to a Business Development Representative in Germany to scale our commercial impact in the German market. A word about the Germany Team ✨ When you join, you’ll be onboarded and supported by your manager, (Head of New Business), who will help you ramp up and succeed in your role. You’ll work closely with our first Account Executive on the German market,, collaborating on opportunities and helping drive our growth in Germany. You’ll also be supported by our broader German go-to-market team 🇩🇪, enabling you to move forward confidently in your conversations with prospects: (Product Manager), (Legal Counsel), and (Field Marketing Manager).

Missions 🎯 :

1. Highlight Doctrine’s value proposition to set up meetings and demos with Account Executives
2. Identify potential customers and gather relevant information about them
3. Qualify and understand prospects’ needs in order to accelerate the sales cycle
4. Engage key decision-makers in the selection of the Doctrine solution
5. Ensure a strong level of information and documentation on the market, prospects, and opportunities
6. Coordinate with Doctrine’s Sales team and Marketing to optimize the lead acquisition strategy
7. Train in qualification, prospecting, and sales techniques
8. Represent Doctrine at the many events organized by Marketing

The ideal profile 👀 :

9. You have some initial experience in sales, customer support, or any role involving frequent customer interaction. Experience in a B2B SaaS company is a plus. In any case, you’re highly motivated to develop your sales skills!
10. You have strong written and verbal communication skills and your are an Italian native speaker. You’re an active listener, empathetic, precise, and direct.
11. Well-organized and self-driven, you can easily multitask and prioritize your work effectively.
12. You enjoy debating and persuading people, and picking up the phone doesn’t scare you.
13. You’re motivated by incentives and excited by the challenge of uncapped variable compensation.
14. Knowledge of a CRM, especially Salesforce, is a plus.

Our hiring process 🚀

15. A 30-min intro call with one of our Talent Acquisition Managers to understand your career goals and walk you through what we're building at Doctrine.
16. A 1-hour conversation with your future manager to dive into the role, team scope and answer all your questions.
17. One or two technical assessments to evaluate your skills in practice.
18. An office visit including: lunch with 3 people from different teams to give you a feel for your future colleagues; a values conversation to share our vision; and a meeting with our CEO, Guillaume.
