Your tasks
* You will be responsible for developing the device hardware architecture for future broadband communication systems in the GHz range based on smart antenna technology
* You will design a hardware architecture for communication systems for different aircraft classes, taking into account modularity, performance as well as HW, FW and SW partitioning
* You will define HW architectures and interfaces according to the operational requirements, coordinating closely with the architecture team and system engineering
* You create the specification and the HW architecture on a functional, logical and technical level
* You are responsible for the HW design and take into account comprehensive aspects such as components, SoC high integration, RF and digital design, layout, mechanics, cooling, interfaces, bus systems
Your qualifications
* You have completed a degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, aerospace engineering or a similar course of study
* You have in-depth knowledge of hardware system architectures for radio communication and are familiar with modern aircraft systems
* You love the challenge of high integration and performance optimization of future GHz radio systems based on phased array technology
* You are familiar with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and DOORS
* You are confident with strong communication skills in a national and international environment
* You work independently, are goal-oriented appreciate working together with a team of architects
* You are fluent in English and open to learn German
