Research Scientist - Microbiome and Cancer
The research project aims to characterize and validate microbiome-borne virulence factors, specifically those implicated in human diseases with a focus on cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determine the effects of identified virulence factors using various assays and investigate underlying mechanisms
* Contribute to developing new methods and assays to study VF functions
* Participate in and contribute to microbiome- and cancer-related projects
* Ensure scientific quality management and comply with quality assurance standards
* Present results within regular consortium meetings and at conferences
Required Qualifications:
* PhD in Biological Sciences or related discipline
* Preferably prior professional experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher
* Proficiency in cell culture techniques and molecular biology
* Experience working with purified proteins and performing related assays
* Strong communication and organizational skills
