Details of the role and how it fits into the team
1. A role in Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking Coverage team for the German-speaking region offers you an opportunity to work on exciting challenges with some of the most influential decision-makers within Deutsche Bank’s broader Origination and Advisory (O&A) franchise
2. Our bankers advise large companies and financial investors across the globe on some of their most important strategic transactions including takeovers and mergers, joint ventures, leveraged buy-outs, activist & hostile defenses and capital raising services, underpinned by one of the world’s largest and most successful debt and capital markets platforms

Your key responsibilities
4. You will work directly with senior bankers in the coverage effort of key accounts across the German-speaking region in close collaboration with our product groups
5. You will support the preparation of client presentations and pitches, closely working with Deutsche Bank’s product and sector teams and our broader corporate coverage network
6. You will perform sector and company research, work on complex and highly quantitative analyses, such as financial models, company valuations, credit analysis and analysis of strategic scenarios
7. In addition, you will assume responsibility for the overall project management on live transactions at an early stage, both, internally across international sector and product teams, as well as externally with clients and other advisors
Your skills and experiences
8. University degree in economics, business administration, law or similar, ideally with an international focus and focus on corporate finance
9. Meaningful, relevant and extensive experience in Investment Banking (Coverage / M&A) at a bulge bracket investment bank or leading boutique is essential
10. Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
11. High motivation, commitment, focus on work quality and attention to detail
12. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
13. Strong commitment to integrity, professionalism and teamwork
14. Fluent in German and English, verbal and written
