As part of our global R&D organization, you will contribute to shaping our digital ecosystem by defining and supporting modern cloud and hybrid application architectures. You will work in a highly collaborative environment across globally distributed teams, contributing to the consistency and evolution of complex software systems.
What you will do
As an Architect, Cloud Applications , you will support and contribute to architectural initiatives for cloud-native and hybrid applications, with a focus on consistency, integration, and offline-capable solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting software architecture initiatives for web and hybrid applications with PC-based components
Contributing to architectural consistency across frontend, backend, device, and local application layers
Leading the design and evolution of the Offline Sync architecture , ensuring alignment with the overall FitXP architecture
Working closely with the FitXP Program Team to support delivery of the Offline Sync initiative within planned timelines
Collaborating with the FitXP Release Train Architect to align architectural concepts across browser apps, proxy/gateway, device/eSW, CIAM, and DevOps
Supporting alignment across globally distributed R&D teams to ensure coherent implementation
Contributing to identification and management of technical dependencies, risks, and trade-offs
Providing structured technical input to stakeholders and supporting decision-making processes
Evaluating modern technologies such as WebAssembly and cloud-native approaches where relevant
Your background
We expect you to hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and bring experience in software development and architecture in complex environments.
Experience
~5+ years of experience in software development and/or software architecture
Experience with architecture or design of web applications and hybrid applications with a PC footprint
Experience working in Agile software development environments
Experience working in globally distributed and multi-cultural teams
Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems
Experience in regulated environments (e.g. medical, healthcare, or similar) is a plus
Familiarity with WebAssembly is an advantage
