About the Division
The Corporate Underwriting for cyber is a department that bundles cyber‑insurance expertise to support business units in writing profitable cyber insurance and developing new cyber business fields. Corporate Underwriting holds the risk‑management function for the cyber line of business. Responsibilities include assessing accumulation potentials, maintaining portfolio transparency, and developing underwriting standards, risk models, technology solutions and services.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive Attack Surface Assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential entry points for threats, utilizing threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
* Develop methods to identify indications of compromise or vulnerabilities at scale using large industry data sets.
* Apply data‑science techniques—machine learning, classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection—to analyze and visualize complex security data.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and prioritize risks, and develop targeted risk‑mitigation strategies.
* Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, technologies and trends in cybersecurity, applying this knowledge to continually improve our security posture.
* Develop and deliver reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate complex security information to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Your Profile
* Strong understanding of network security fundamentals, including common attack vectors and mitigation strategies.
* 5+ years of experience in security engineering and/or data science.
* Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
* Experience with data‑science tools and technologies, including Python, R or SQL, and familiarity with data‑visualisation platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
* Knowledge of machine‑learning algorithms and statistical‑analysis techniques, including classification, regression, clustering and anomaly detection.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyse complex security data and develop effective risk‑mitigation strategies.
* Experience with incident‑response and remediation, including the incident‑response lifecycle and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
* Fluent Business English.
