Role Summary
Job Description
* Contribute to the growth and development of the Finance & Capital Markets team by delivering expert advice on various credit sectors.
* Collaborate with a multicultural and dynamic team on transaction-related matters that span international boundaries.
* Provide counsel to domestic and international banks and financial institutions on leveraged, acquisition, real estate, fund and asset finance as well as enforcement processes and securitisation operations.
* Offer expertise on financial law, securities law, contract law and insolvency law.
* Participate in meetings and conference calls with clients to discuss projects and provide updates.
* Prepare and draft opinions and documents under the supervision of the partner in charge.
* Assist in guiding and training junior lawyers within the team.
* Manage files with increasing autonomy.
Key Requirements
* Master's degree in financial law, ideally completed by an LLM degree from the UK or the US.
* Experience in finance and/or capital markets practice through internship(s) or employment.
* Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Fluency in at least one other language such as French, German and/or Luxembourgish will be considered an asset.
* Motivated, dynamic, able to work independently and in a team, and eager to develop strong relationships with clients in an international context.
* Service-oriented and excellent analytical writing skills.
