Postdoctoral Researcher in Organ-on-a-Chip Technology
The Department of Biohybrid and Medical Textiles is seeking a passionate postdoctoral researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative organ-on-a-chip technology. The successful candidate will be part of a young, motivated, and international team working together to advance complex in vitro modeling.
Job Description:
We are developing an advanced in vitro airway model to investigate the mechanisms underlying the onset and manifestation of neuronal hypersensitivity in chronic cough. This project aims to create a sophisticated 3D model with real-world impact.
Responsibilities:
* Develop tissue-engineering solutions to address clinical needs and provide models for basic research
* Contribute to the design and execution of experiments related to airway tissue engineering and primary cell culture
* Collaborate with the team to advance the project and achieve its goals
Required Qualifications and Skills:
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a PhD in biology, tissue engineering, biomedical engineering or a similar field. They should also demonstrate a strong interest in in vitro research, a highly motivated attitude, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
