Asa Maintenance Software Tester, you will be at the heart of a global infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of one of the world’s most advanced satellite ground segments. Your work will directly impact the performance and evolution of the Galileo eco system.
Your main tasks will be:
1. Implement automated test scripts for integration and verification (AIV) campaigns to ensure repeatability and efficiency.
2. Collaborate with developers and Operations teams to identify critical validation scenarios and translate them into automated tests.
3. Document automation frameworks, test scripts, and maintain traceability between automated tests and requirements.
4. Develop and execute automated regression test suites to validate system stability across releases.
5. Automate configuration validation and environment setup checks to ensure consistency across test environments.
6. Automate security and vulnerability testing, including integration with CI/CD pipelines for early detection.
7. Develop automated diagnostic tools and recovery scripts to expedite troubleshooting and system restoration.
8. Implement automated deployment and validation of test environments to support continuous integration and testing.
9. Integrate automated testing into the release pipeline to ensure rapid and reliable validation of new features and updates.
10. Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
11. Maintain documentation of test cases, automation frameworks, and validation procedures.
12. Support regression testing and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

13. Proven experience in test automation, preferably in aerospace, defense, or satellite ground segment systems.
14. Proficiency in scripting languages (, Python, Bash) and test automation tools (, Selenium, Robot Framework, PyTest).
15. Familiarity with version control systems (, Git) and CI/CD tools (, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
16. Understanding of system validation processes and operational workflows.
17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
18. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
19. Ability to coordinate complex tasks over team boundaries.
20. Willing and able to travel for trainings and workshops.
21. An advanced level of English is mandatory.
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:
22. Experience with Satellite Ground Segments.
23. ISTQB or equivalent certification (preferred).
