The “Corporate Executive DSC & HR” department acts as the HR Business Partner for Executives (RCS Grades B–F) worldwide in the areas of DHL Supply Chain and HR. It advises executives and their managers on all HR-related matters and supports the replacement of vacant positions as well as contract design. The department is also responsible for conducting annual talent, performance, and compensation management processes.

Key Responsibilities

Advising RCS Grades B–F managers in DHL Supply Chain & HR on HR-related matters concerning their assigned executives, including the application of HR tools, global and local regulations and guidelines (including civil service law), programs, and processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle (e.g., hiring, development, retention, compensation, termination), in alignment with department leadership.

Ensuring consistent application and compliance with fundamental regulations and applicable national and international laws and guidelines in personnel matters (e.g., transfers, reorganizations, disciplinary actions).

* Preparation, execution, and follow-up of annual talent, performance, and compensation management processes for senior executives in DHL Supply Chain & HR:
o Updating and maintaining data in HR systems and managing complex internal interfaces with local HR units worldwide.
o Monitoring process progress and providing regular status reports to support the responsible executive leader in the “Corporate Executives” department.
o Supporting and advising managers throughout these processes.
o Preparing decision papers and presentations for the respective boards and board meetings.
o Coordinating implementation of follow-up actions, including drafting corresponding letters for senior executives.
o Proactively identifying improvement opportunities in the above processes and implementing improvement measures.
* Supporting selection and hiring processes for senior executives in DHL Supply Chain & HR:
o Drafting and aligning job profiles with the business unit, job evaluation in collaboration with Corporate C\&B, and preparing job postings (including system setup).
o Obtaining board approvals.
o Pre-screening applications and independently conducting preliminary interviews with candidates.
o Preparing and organizing selection interviews and panels, including developing and aligning interview questions and case studies with managers.
o Preparing compensation and contract overviews in compliance with applicable (inter-)national regulations and legal requirements, as well as social security and tax conditions, partly in collaboration with local HR units and Corporate Executives legal counsel; preparing and supporting necessary approval processes.
o Conducting contract negotiations for senior executives (RCS E & F).
o Independently drafting contract documents and secondment agreements, including assessment of social security and tax implications.
o Acting as direct interface with payroll (domestic & international) for implementation.
* Primary contact for senior executives in DHL Supply Chain & HR:
o Advising on questions related to their employment relationship, partly in collaboration with local HR units, Global Mobility, and Corporate Executives legal counsel.
o Drafting, managing, and maintaining contract documents, including tracking and implementing contract extensions, amendments, or terminations.
* Participation in cross-departmental or cross-functional working groups.
* Managing interfaces and committees for implementing HR measures, including corporate spokesperson committees, various international and local HR units, cross-divisional HR Business Partner teams, and payroll.
* Further development of administrative processes for the “Corporate Executives” area for senior executives, considering and applying trends in automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence:
o Continuous improvement and standardization of existing processes and establishment of best practices.
o Future-oriented evaluation of AI application possibilities in daily operations and active participation in the internal AI working group.
o Coordinating and implementing adjustment proposals in collaboration with adjacent Corporate Executives departments and IT.

Professional Requirements

* University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
* Several years of professional experience in operational HR work in an international environment, preferably with a focus on supporting and advising executives.
* Strong understanding of HR processes, best practices, and guidelines, ideally from an international corporate environment.
* Solid knowledge of labor law and experience in drafting individual employment contracts.
* In-depth knowledge of HR processes and guidelines, preferably in executive-level contexts.
* Experience applying trends in digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI) in HR.
* Affinity for digitalizing HR processes.
* Knowledge of internal HR systems and tools is an advantage (e.g., myTalentWorld, Comp Connect, SAP).
* Excellent German and English skills.
