The (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences and Medicine.
Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in.
Clinical care within inpatient and outpatient care at the Neurology Department of the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg
~Recruitment of patients for the cohort study of the National Centre of Excellence in Research on Parkinson's disease (NCER-PD)
~ Setup and optimisation of workflows for patient recruitment
~ Execution of scientific projects with national and international collaboration partners on research projects
~ Teach students about clinical and research aspects of neurodegenerative disorders
~ Present at public events for information of lay public or medical professionals ()
~ Present research results at national and international scientific meetings
~ Write and contribute to scientific publications and research grant applications
Medical degree (MD) recognized in Luxembourg and interest in specialisation training in Neurology
Interest in clinical research on neurodegeneration
Ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams
Fluent spoken and written French and/or German, proficiency in English, and willingness to generally improve fluency in languages
Good computer skills for standard software (Excel, Word, etc.)
