Job Description
The Yard Operations Manager is responsible for managing the flow of trucks in and out of the yard, ensuring timely arrivals and departures while maintaining high safety and customer experience standards.
This role requires close collaboration with site leadership to drive process improvements and implement Lean tools to optimize yard performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 2 years of Amazon experience
* MS Office expertise, including intermediate proficiency in Excel and basic proficiency in SQL or Access
* Experience with performance metrics, data-driven decision making, and process improvement initiatives
* Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
