About our client
Our client, for whom we are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst (full-time job) is the subsidiary in Frankfurt of a worldwide renowned financial insitution (Fortune Global 500 company) .
Qualifications and knowledge:
* University degree in economics, finance or banking
* 4 - 5 years of work experience in front or middle office of commercial banks
* Know-how in credit review, rating and risk analysis of corporate clients
* Knowledge of finance, economics and accounting standards
* Knowledge of banking supervisory requirements in Germany (e.g., Banking Act, MaRisk)
* Good skills in MS Office
* Proficient in German and English language, Chinese would be of advantage
Duties and responsibilities:
Credit Review
* Analysis of creditworthiness of clients by using both quantitative and qualitative factors
* Perform rating review and update on the clients
* Preparation of credit review report and presentation to Credit Committee
* Preparation of meetings for Credit Committee and preparation of meeting minutes
Credit Administration
* Checking conditions precedent for loan payment
* Monitoring of existing clients/exposures in compliance with internal and external rules
* Reporting of large exposures and loans of EUR 1million and above to German Bundesbank including management of customer data (“Stammdaten”)
* Management of pledged loans for refinancing purposes to Bundesbank (“MACCS”)
* Risk reports to local Management Board and Head Office
* Establishing and managing credit files (hardcopy and digital)
* Supporting Corporate Banking and Operations for credit related matters
