As part of Global Research, we develop innovative concepts for orthopaedic technology solutions. To strengthen our team at the Duderstadt site near Göttingen, we offer an internship and/or a thesis at the earliest possible date. Depending on the project you are assigned to, you will support the project team with the tasks listed below.
Please let us know when you are available and for how long. We are continuously working on various projects in different research areas. Our need for committed students is based on the current project landscape.
Duties & Responsibilities
* You immerse yourself in basic research into anatomy and physiology
* You analyze and develop current technologies and competitor products
* Problem analysis and definition of requirements and design parameters are also part of your tasks
* You compare, evaluate and then select the concepts developed
* You create design concepts including initial prototypes or functional models
Qualifications
* You are a student in mechanical engineering, medical technology, electronics or similar
* Depending on the project assignment, you have knowledge of the relevant software tools (Matlab, Creo, SolidWorks, etc.)
* You enjoy designing technical solutions in a heterogeneous environment
* You think creatively and goal-oriented
* You work independently, proactively and in a structured manner and also have a strong hands-on mentality
