Current INTERNAL Local National Employees throughout Germany. This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany.
Hauptaufgaben
Independently fabricate, repairs and/or rebuilds a variety of wooden equipment or wooden parts/items installed in, or attached to equipment. Makes determinations as to the extent of repair or rebuild necessary. Works from blue prints, drawings, sketches and/or samples. Identifies and selects proper type of hardware needed. Takes measurements, cuts, trims, planes, mills, sands or otherwise shapes parts to proper size by hand or power tools and installs or assembles items as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Completed vocational training of at least 30 months in the appropriate trade. /

Completed vocational training in the appropriate trade PLUS 2 years experience at a level of difficulty comparable to the Wage Group 5 or equivalent. The applicant must be able to perform the duties independently. /
Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der entsprechenden Gewerbegruppe mit einer Ausbildungsdauer von mindestens 30 Monaten, PLUS 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Lohngruppe 5 oder in, vom Schwierigkeitsgrad vergleichbaren Taetigkeiten, welche selbstaendig ausgeuebt wurden.
• Bewerber müssen den Führerschein Klasse B besitzen. / Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.
• Gabelstaplerschein wünschenswert. / Forklift operator license desired.
• Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Büroanwenderprogrammen wuenschenswert. / Office automation skills are desired.

Beschäftigungsbedingungen
This is a permanent full-time position (38.5 hrs/week). / Es handelt sich um eine permanente Vollzeitposition (38.5 Std./Woche).
• Heben und Tragen bis zu 27 kg erforderlich. / Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
