Job Description During your assignment, you will implement, integrate and evaluate cutting-edge algorithms along the complete stack of an Automated Driving System with focus on perception or function and planning modules. Technological focus will be on Machine Learning (End2End systems, Foundation Models, such as VLM and VLA). Your algorithms will run in real time on a prototype test vehicle. In addition, you will realize a system-driven evaluation in a system-in-the-loop simulation and on defined reference tracks. Last but not least, you will work in an agile and diverse research team. Qualifications Education: Master studies in the field of Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering or comparable with excellent grades Experience and Knowledge: excellent programming skills (Python, C++); knowledge of ROS and Machine Learning libs is a strong plus Personality and Working Practice: you are a highly motivated, flexible team player Languages: fluent in English and ideally good in German Additional Information Start: according to prior agreement Duration: 3 - 6 months Optionally, we can support an internship preceding the offered thesis.
