ZIB is the central IT service provider for the justice system in Lower Saxony and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with around 23,500 PC workstations. Together with our 400 colleagues, we also run numerous digitization projects for a modern justice system.
To strengthen our team in areaWindows Server, Fabric, Containerization, Storage & Backup, we are looking for the next possible date for a
DevOps Engineer / Administrator (f/m/d)
Your tasks
* As part of a cross-functional DevSecOps team, you will operate the IT infrastructure used in the Lower Saxony justice system
* Your focus will be on the administration and continuous further development of our container platform (e.g. Kubernetes, GitLab, Kasten IO) based on RedHat OpenShift. In this way, you will ensure the constant availability of the data required by the courts and public prosecutor's offices in Lower Saxony
* You support specialist teams with the introduction of container-based applications as part of onboarding
What sets you apart
* A relevant university degree (e.g. computer science) or equivalent skills and experience
* good knowledge in the administration of container and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift)
* Good knowledge of common DevOps tools (Gitlab, Argo CD, Helm etc.)
* Linux knowledge is desirable
* We would also appreciate experience in the automation of recurring tasks and processes based on Ansible or other frameworks
* We would also like to see knowledge in the application of agile working methods (SCRUM, Kanban etc.)
* Ability to work in a team, initiative and service orientation
* German language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and IT-standard English language skills
The willingness to carry out a security check in accordance with § 7 para. 1 of the Nds.
