KG Organization Grid Technologies Business Unit Transformers Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day The Vertical Sales Professional – Data Center (Distribution Transformers) is responsible for driving sales growth and managing key customer relationships within the data center vertical, with a specific focus on distribution transformer solutions. This role combines deep industry knowledge of data center infrastructure with technical expertise to deliver tailored, high-value solutions to strategic accounts.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Development and execution of a go-to-market strategy for distribution transformer solutions in the data center vertical
2. Identification and development of new business opportunities with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and enterprise data center customers
3. Monitoring and analysis of industry trends, including energy efficiency, grid integration, and sustainability, to align solutions with customer needs
4. Management and expansion of key account relationships, including strategic account planning to drive long-term growth, retention, and customer satisfaction
5. Coordination and collaboration with offer management, project management, and after-sales teams to ensure successful solution delivery
6. Technical and commercial support of sales activities, including solution positioning, RFP responses, customer presentations, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and achievement of defined sales targets and KPIs
What You Bring
7. Completed Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, business, or a comparable field
8. Relevant professional experience in B2B sales and account management, preferably within power distribution and/or data center environments
9. Strong understanding of distribution transformers, power systems, and data center infrastructure
10. Demonstrated experience in managing strategic accounts and delivering customer-oriented technical solutions
11. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and concisely
12. Proficiency in CRM systems (, Salesforce), combined with a customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities
