Site Manager
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Act as focal point with Customer and third parties for the supervision of the technical and operative aspects the pre-lay activities related to the power cable system.
2. Act as interface between Customer, Civil works contractors and Cable laying subcontractors for planning of the activities, for the check of civil works execution and for check of the infrastructures
3. Supervise of laying operation performed by subcontractors
4. Keep a record dairy of the activities on site, managing the execution of the subcontractors in respect of the plan submitted and the contract operative requirements.
5. Supervision of the backfilling operation realized by third party company in terms of timing, quality and cable protection.
6. Site supervision taking care of resources (personnel and assets), technical aspects, logistic and HSE management on site.
7. Compliance with internal rules and procedures during the entire process.
8. Support the preparation of the method statements and other documentation necessary to carry out the works on site in cooperation with and under the supervision of Installation Engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
9. Attitude to manage technical and operative aspects of a job including the attention to technical documentation, the understanding of drawings and procedures, to be implemented through a process of learning an experience on field.
10. Leadership attitude and capability to guide a team to reach a pre-set target
11. Good relationship approach with Clients and subcontractors.
12. Problem solving and target orientation, with attitude to manage properly priorities in coordination with Management.
13. Attitude to fast learning and self-commitment.
14. Knowledge and familiarity with of all basic and common software tools like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Internet use.
15. German and English, written and spoken.
16. Availability to frequent trips, domestic and abroad.
17. Availability to spend long periods in Germany
18. Program flexibility.
19. Driving license
