Bernadette is a French-inspired, market-driven restaurant in downtown Salem from Chef Aaron Chambers and the team behind Settler. Our dining room is small, fast-paced, and deeply hospitality-driven, with a strong focus on thoughtful food, cocktails, wine, and guest experience.
We are currently looking for an experienced bartender, server, and host to join our front of house team (3 open roles are available).
This is an opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment where standards are high, details matter, and hospitality is taken seriously. We are building a team of professionals who care deeply about restaurants, service, food, beverage, and creating memorable guest experiences night after night.
The Environment
Our service model is polished but approachable. The room moves quickly, communication matters, and every member of the team contributes to the overall flow of service.
The menu changes frequently based on seasonality and sourcing, and the beverage program is a major part of the restaurant experience. We are not looking for scripted service. We are looking for people who are engaged, observant, thoughtful, and genuinely excited by hospitality.
